Abbey Finance was formed by Tony Gardiner in November
1991 from offices in Pershore, Worcestershire, to offer a professional
one-stop car and commercial sourcing and financing package for the business
user, and soon after offering the full range of services to sole traders
and private individuals.
Having
continued to thrive since our formation, we felt that we needed to broaden
our underwriting capability. To achieve this the company moved to offices
in Shrewsbury in March 2001 to become part of the Furrows Group of companies,
a leading multi-franchise motor dealer of some eighty years. With the
added support of the Furrows Group we have been able to continue our
excellent relationships with our customers, as well as continuing to
offer them the most appropriate up to date solutions to their vehicle
requirements.
With their continued loyal support many of our customers have been with
Abbey Finance from the start of its trading, financing their first vehicle
to their whole fleet as we grew together. Abbey Finance offer a full
